1. How much is my home worth?

We all know the sites, Zillow, Redfin, that offer value estimates, and they can be a starting point, but they don’t tell the whole story. When I determine a price range for a client, I look at recent nearby sales, your home’s condition and features, and what competition is when you are ready to list. The market will have trends, but there is always fluctuation, when certain price ranges, towns, or property types are in more demand than others. We will look at the data together so you have a clear understanding of a realistic price range and pricing strategy.

2. Should I make repairs or updates before selling?

Before you make any repairs or updates, let’s walk through your home together. Some improvements can make a big difference, while others may not be worth the expense. If you aren't sure about the systems and if maintenance has been adequate a presale home inspection can be very helpful as well. I’ll help you decide where to focus your time and budget.

4. When is the best time to sell my home on the North Shore?

The right time depends on your plans, your home, and what’s happening in your local market. Spring can be busy, but buyers move throughout the year. Sometimes the late fall and winter will bring fewer buyers but the ones that are out are serious and want to move quickly. We’ll look at your timing and the current competition to make a plan that fits.

5. How much does it cost to sell a home?

Home sale costs may include preparation, negotiated brokerage compensation, attorney fees, taxes, recording and other closing expenses. I’ll help you put together an estimate early so you have a clearer picture of what you could walk away with.
